Ian Lewis is a Denver native and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at The Eye Center of Colorado. He has been in ophthalmology for three years.
As a student at Englewood High School, Ian worked at Craig Hospital. Upon graduating, he went into pediatric medicine where he worked for 12 years. During that time, he worked for a pediatric ophthalmology group, which is where he found his passion for ophthalmology! Ian also had the opportunity to work in ICU at Children’s Hospital in Denver.
Ian is one of six children and has one child himself – his dog Linus. In his free time, Ian enjoys hiking, warm weather, being in water, spending time with Linus, as well as his partner. Even though he grew up in Colorado, Ian has never been skiing or snowboarding! Ian lives by the motto, “Treat others the way you want to be treated”, and this certainly reflects in Ian’s character here at The Eye Center.
